You Gotta Pursue PURPOSE

You gotta do it. You have to pursue the purpose for which God created you for like never before. No more procrastination. No more sitting down on your gifts and your talents. No more watching others win while you're somewhat stagnant. No more!

Jesus is soon to come. We can't just watch the world die slowly while we do nothing about it. The world is waiting on you! The world is waiting on me! God is waiting on us! We can't keep making excuses. We have to make faith. Make faith... meaning let faith and trust in God lead you. Everything might not be perfect. You might not have everything you need or everything you "think" you need. God just wants us to trust Him. 

When we pursue purpose, it's just like pursuing God. Purpose... true purpose is always in alignment with God's will for our lives. When we get outside of that, we tend to make a mess of ourselves. When we tap into purpose, instead of making a mess, we make God proud! I don't know about you, but I want God to look at me and say, :"Well done my good and faithful servant"!

Here are just a few keys to pursing your purpose in this new season of your life:

1. Seek God First

• Key Verse: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33).
• Your purpose begins with a relationship with God. Pursuing purpose starts by seeking God above all else. 

2. Know Your Identity in Christ

• Key Verse: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).
• Understanding your identity in Christ is essential to pursuing your purpose. You are God’s workmanship, uniquely created to fulfill the specific works He has prepared for you. Embrace the fact that God has a plan for you, and your purpose will manifest.

3. Discover and Use Your Gifts

• Key Verse: “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace” (1 Peter 4:10).
• God has equipped every believer with spiritual gifts, talents, and abilities meant to serve others and glorify Him. Part of pursuing your purpose is discovering your gifts and using them to meet needs in the body of Christ and the world. Ask God to reveal your gifts and look for ways to use them in alignment with His purpose.
