The Turn Down is REAL

To turn something or someone down- to refuse an offer or request:

to refuse to accept or agree to something, or to refuse someone's request:

John 15:2 “I am the true vine, … 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. NIV

For next level living there has to be a sacrifice for next level breakthrough in our lives.

What exactly are you willing to turn down, cut off or let go of in this season? God is trying to prune you right now. He's trying to prune some things out of your life. 

Think about pruning like the pruning of a tree. Pruning is when you selectively remove branches from a tree. The goal is to remove unwanted branches, improve the tree’s structure, and direct new, healthy growth.

For a tree to grow to another level, pruning has to happen. Not just any pruning. You have to selectively go in to figure out what needs cutting.

When you trim your trees, you get all these benefits!

• Say farewell to dead, broken or damaged branches.
• Save your property (your life)  from potential damage from fallen branches.
• When you remove old branches, you give trees the green light to put out healthy, new growth.
• Train trees to grow on your terms so that branches won’t hang over the roof or stretch into power lines.
• Give trees a clean, polished look that elevates your whole landscape.
• Set the tree up with a good foundation for long-term health.

 Trees have to be pruned for next level growth to come in. You are that tree. What is God trying to prune for your next level? With next level, there is newness. 

 With newness, old things have to pass away. With old things passing away, there is a choice to let go.
