The Power of the Overcoming Woman

You are an overcomer. You are a winner. It’s in you! You can overcome anything that tries to overcome you! There is next level glory coming for you, so don’t you dare give up or give in!  

I am so pumped! We just finished our Circle of Fabulous Women Empowerment Summit, and I was thinking about the testimony of one of our guests, Lady Darlene Davis. This woman was able to overcome so much in life! I was in awe of her testimony. I also know this…God is not done using this mighty woman of God for His glory! 

When I think of her story of overcoming, a few things come to mind: 

1. Resilience: It is the ability to bounce back from setbacks, face adversity head-on, and transform challenges into opportunities for growth. Tracey, no matter what you are going through, there is a “bounce-back anointing of resiliency” on your life! 
2. Breaking Stereotypes and Challenging Norms: You can break the “norm” if you choose to. Don’t let generational curses weigh you down and get the best of you! Lady Darlene sure didn't. Her story of overcoming molestation, teenage abortion, family issues, etc. could have set her back. Instead, she allowed those issues to set her up for GREATNESS!!!
3. Inspiring Future Generations: Perhaps one of the most significant powers of the overcoming woman is her ability to inspire future generations. By overcoming obstacles and achieving greatness, she becomes a role model for young girls and women, encouraging them to dream big and reach for the stars. Hearing Lady Darlene’s testimony on how she now gives back to those that look like she looked when she went through her trauma blessed me tremendously! She now gives back and empowers others to overcome what may be trying to overcome them!
