LIFE’S LESSONS

I have learned over the years to simply trust God. Having faith when times are hard seems like one of the absolute hardest things to do…but yet will I trust Him!!! When things start going downhill, I trust Him. When blessings and prophetic words aren’t manifesting, I trust Him. When times are hard, guess what? I trust Him!

As I look back over the years, I think about all the things that I have gone through. I think about all of life’s situations. I think about being in that land of barrenness, where it seems like everybody is getting blessed but me, and I had to ask God, “Why me Lord? Why am I going through all of this? Why won’t you bless me like you blessed such and such person? What do I have to do to get a breakthrough?” I must admit, I had to learn how to walk in the fruit of the spirit. Not just part of the fruit, but the entire fruit. That fruit consists of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self control.

When you’re going through some of the hardest times in your life, remember….God loves you. God has not forgotten about you. You’re going through this for a reason. Learn from it so that you can help someone else who’s going through, to get through it. There are lessons to be learned in life, and now it’s time to teach others about those same lessons. No pity party, but a time to rejoice and impart into somebody else. Embrace the process, and embrace the lessons that you learn throughout the process. In the end, know it is well, and will continue to be well.
